Folks, I am a BAD speller.

I have installed the Australian dictionary. No problems.

Recently when I get a bad spelt word and I RMB on it, basically anything in the clipboard is pasted there.

Um, why? Sign Sign

Actually RMB seems to paste, so maybe this isn't a FF problem. Sorry folks.

I shall look into it more myself, but I am wanting to cover all my bases.

One of the optional features of FastestFox is to automatically paste on right-click. Can you check to make sure that hasn't been turned on? If there's no toolbar or menu entry for FastestFox, try here:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category > "Options" button for FastestFox

Update:

Sorry it is now a bit late to update what I have learned.

But ONLY IN FIREFOX (now updated to latest version) RMB anywhere is translated to PASTE.

(That's why there are the two Sign words after the "Um, why?" in my original post as I was doing the RMB on the RMB in that post.

Disable all extensions except the Australian dictionary and start in normal mode to check if one of the other extension is causing this issue.

Thanks folks.

Fastfox was the problem.

Silly me.

It would be nice if they left settings alone when it updated.  ;-)
