when I open a new tab I get in that tab you have opened a new from searchcompletion. com.
when I open a new tab I get a message saying " welcome to tabbed browsing" with a box for entering my search topic provided by something called searchcompletion.com. I have disabled all add-ons and look for anything in my program & features that pertains to search completiion. I have also re installed firefox. I would like to get rid of this search completion

Sorry, but that sounds like you might have some malware installed on your computer. You can try to reset Firefox to its default settings (while saving your private data like bookmarks, etc) by following this tutorial: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems
