I use firefox 12.0. When I installed JDownloader it assumed the funçãoes download from Firfox. I removed the JDownloader and Firefox download again, but lost access to the download screen to select download or open. It appears for a split second and disappears. How do I fix it?

Try:

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
