Anyone else having problems with Google images? If I click on an image, Firefox seems to go into some sort of loop trying to display the page, like it's bouncing between pages. Not exactly sure what it is. But it might be related to page redirection. But I cannot click on any Google images without this happening without stopping until I hit ESC.

I've had this problem with the past 5 releases. I now have 9.0. It happens in safe mode so it's not because of an extension.

Here's a link from Google images that fails for me.

http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&biw=1282&bih=888&gbv=2&tbm=isch&tbnid=G2Gmb6-L-wvojM:&imgrefurl=http://www.upatsix.com/faq/canary.htm&docid=qHSeEl0FWFQyNM&imgurl=http://www.upatsix.com/faq/images/canary.jpg&w=289&h=272&ei=e-jOToXBFOjV0QGmvPkd&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=237&sig=109789574975636372073&page=1&tbnh=149&tbnw=178&start=0&ndsp=21&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0&tx=103&ty=49

I can't duplicate the problem on my work computer so it must be something about my computerbold text. On the other hand, no such problem on my machine with other browsers (Chrome, Opera or Safari for Windows).

Anyone have any ideas?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
