I am migrating from Maxthon 2 to FF 7. In Mx one can email one or many tabs, I'd like to be able to do the same with FF. I ahve Send Tab URLs pluged in, but it only sends all open tabs and there doesn't appear to be any way of setting it to send one tab. Can this be done in FF?

EDIT: Well, I guess i can send just one tab by deleting all the others that appear in the email.

You can use File > "Send Link" to email the title in the subject and the url in the body of the email. With the "Firefox" button you have to go through the menu so use "Alt" to display menu, or "Alt+F" to bring up the File menu then use "Send Link".

Sorry I just like a lot more flexibility if I were going to email a link, The multiple tab handler can produce formatted information from the title, location, description, author, and more for any tab, selection of tabs, or all tab in any format you like as text into the clipboard.

You can make Firefox 7.0.1 look like Firefox 3.6.*, see numbered items 1-10 in the following topic Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 4.0 thru 8.0, look like 3.6). Whether or not you make changes, you should be aware of what has changed and what you have to do to use changed or missing features.

There is a lot more beyond those first 10 steps listed, if you want to make Firefox more functional.

Thanks, dmcritchie, but I think I'll stay where I'm at...

Yeah, I like buttons and really don't like to have to click here and then click there on menus. But, File>Send Link certainly will be more efficient than my present button (send list of tbs to email) until a button comes along that will allow the selection of sending multiple and single tabs.

I have bookmarked you excellent "back to FF 3.6 interface tutorial" as this does look like what I'm trying to accomplish...to some extent. Interestingly, I just came over from being a long time user of Maxthon and it seems that Fx is doing the same thing as Mx. That is, Mx is now in the process of developing Mx3 and trying to get everyone to use it. However, it is no where ready to replace Mx2 as it just doesn't have nearly the good stuff that Mx2 has. I'm sure they will eventually get there (well, maybe). I couldn't go to Mx3 because of it lack of Mx2 functionality, but I left Mx2 because it is crashing all the time and isn't getting anymore programmer's support.
