Right-click just gives me the Flash menu. Ctrl-printscreen does nothing-- I thought this was the last resort. Awesome Screenshot and Grab extensions don't see the image-- in fact they don't even see text on the page that I can copy with the cursor. Can't select the image either with cursor or "Select All". Can't drag the image either to desktop or to Paint.

This happens routinely with Flash objects, is a long-standing problem.

You can't. That is the best way that developers can use to protect their images from getting saved.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in the Flash player or disable the plugin-container process.
