I'd like to be able to save all the tabs to the hard disk (maybe Ctrl-Alt-S).
It's easy to save one page -- but I'm frequently opening several tabs and then have to go somewhere without internet connection. It's also easy to just leave firefox open -- but it can sometimes crash. I'd like a simple way to save all the open pages to the disk.

Try the Read It Later extension.

Not really what I want. It's okay -- but I can just as easily hit Ctrl-S -- since I have to click for each tab I'd like to save. I want to save all the tabs with one click or key sequence.
You can save all open tabs with this code in Keyconfig:
(function(){var l=gBrowser.mPanelContainer.childNodes.length;for(var i=0;i<l;i++){try{gBrowser.mTabContainer.selectedIndex=i; saveDocument(window.content.document);} catch(e){}}})();
Thanks for all the comments. However, while this may be a solution -- it's rather difficult for someone who has no experience with command line interaction. I have a feeling many users would like to see this feature in a web-browser (or any other tabbed application for that matter) but simply assume they have no way to fix it. It would be a rather simple addition to Firefox 3.6.14.
