When I'm signing in, Yahoo!Mail remenbers the user names (Yahoo!IDs) that I previously entered. It must be a cookie since this behavior differs from computer to computer that I work on. How can I identify/delete/block it? I don't want this feature to be enabled.

in the top menu: tools > options > privacy tab > Show Cookies

Then find the cookies with 'yahoo' in their name, and remove them

Another way to see the cookies from the current page:

  • Open the Yahoo website via the location bar or a bookmark.
  • Click the website favicon (How do I tell if my connection to a website is secure?) on the left end of the location bar.
  • Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
  • Click the "View Cookies" button in that pane to open the Cookies Manager and see all Yahoo cookies.
