browser will not unhide on snowleopard

I hid my browser (using snow leopard)and even though I have turned firefox back on there is now browser.The tool bar says firefox is on,the dock says it is on my home page, and it gives me the option ti "hide" firefox rather than "show"firefox, so I should be seeing firefox.I have re started the computer and also reinstalled firefox...no change

Same scenario, cannot unhide firefox. I will have to go to the apple store and use a one on one training for this
