Problem signing in with Thunderbird and Oauth2
Hello Due to a massive cluster**k this morning, I changed my password by accident I think I've now got everything working again, except that Thunderbird cannot sign in to my Google Account What I don't understand is that I have a password with normal and special characters and numbers, but the Oauth2 password is very different of course How do I know what to change my Oauth2 password too? Or perhaps the question should be how do I now generate a new one that goes with my new "normal" password Thanks in advance for any help

If google want you to reauthorize your oauth connection they will cause a webpage to load asking you to allow Thunderbird access. You never ever do anything with the saved oauth token (it is not a user password) except delete it. That will force a re-authentication. Note that webpage in recent versions of Thunderbird loads in your default web browser for apparently all providers but yahoo. Having a prompt open in the browser can also prevent Thunderbird from getting mail on any account as I found out a few days ago.
