Here is some ways to troubleshoot the problem : Use a trusted device
- use a device (like your phone) that is already signed in to approve the new login, or use Yahoo's Sign-in Helper to reset your password.
Use the Sign-in Helper
- If you cannot access another device, go to the Yahoo Sign-in Helper to recover your account using your recovery email or phone number.
Clear Browser Data
- If using a web browser, clear your cookies and cache, restart the browser, or try a different browser.
Check App Settings (Yahoo Mail app)
- Remove and re-add your account, or uninstall and reinstall the app.
Wait 24 Hours
- If you have exceeded the number of allowed verification attempts, you may need to wait 24 hours before trying again.
