Hung update on my WIn 7 machine
Hello, I am still running an old WIn 7 media center because I have applications I need that are no longer supported elsewhere. Firefox ESR has been working just fine up until the most recent update - which repeatedly fails to install each time I start Firefox. Is there a location where this update resides? If so may I know this location and procedure to eliminate this errant update? Thanks!

Hello
Try.
Use the Troubleshooting Information page to help fix Firefox issues. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-troubleshooting-information-page-fix-firefox
Update Folder: Shows the path to the folder containing the files update-config.json, updates.xml, active-update.xml (if an update was downloaded but not yet applied) and the updates subfolder. Clicking Open Folder will take you to the update folder.
Delete the updates folder.
Restart Firefox, and try again, Update Firefox to the latest version. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-release
Other information. Go to https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/115.32.0esr/ Or Go to https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/115.32.0esr/
Open the directory win32, or, open the directory win64, it depends on your operating system, the Firefox that you have installed. Next, download in your language, Firefox Setup 115.32.0esr.exe
You can also Download Firefox 115.32.0esr from here
64-bit: https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr/win64/ 32-bit: https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr/win/
Then pick your language then click on [Download ESR 115] to download the full setup for Fx 115.32.0esr in the language you want.
Note Firefox 115.33.0esr is the last planned for update unless Mozilla decides before then to extend updates yet again.
