Could you scroll down the Settings page, Privacy & Security panel, to the '''History''' section. What do you see here? * Firefox will: Remember history => this is the normal setting * Firefox will: Use custom settings for history => ''what are the detailed settings here?'' * Firefox will: Never remember history => this invokes automatic private browsing, so everything is cleared when Firefox closes; you need to change this to custom and un-check the box for "Always use private browsing mode"
