Every time firefox has updated this year it prevents me from signing into my Navy federal credit union account. I get the following error message; Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://signon.navyfederal.org/siteminderagent/forms/mfa.fcc" on this server.

Reference #18.82b3417.1697332724.50b30aec

I have had to turn off the ad blockers in the past and delete all the history including sign ins to get it to work again. This update I again went through all of that and also tried turning off every extension, turning off firefox tracking blocker and even reset the network setting to no proxy. Nothing works. Will I have to go back to using the google spyware browser just so I can do my banking? Or can this problem finally be fixed? If firefox worked with NFCU forten years prior without any difficulty I don't know why it cant be fixed.

I get the login screen so what screenshot error are you getting? Did you verify Firefox Private Mode Browser worked without login issue.

I can access the login page. When I attempt login with junk credentials it goes to a planned maintenance page.

We're conducting regularly scheduled maintenance and will be back up again in no time.

Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.

"You don't have permission to access..." errors are characteristic of a firewall that protects the server against misuse and this firewall thinks something is suspicious about the HTTP request. If you use a proxy or VPN, try to use a direct connection. Select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

  • Settings -> General -> Network -> Connection -> Settings

You can try to clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the padlock button or via "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings) to see if that fixes it.

I've seen cases where having enabled Resist Fingerprinting was causing this issue.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if an extension is causing the problem.

If this all doesn't work, try "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history item. Note that this removes saved passwords for this website as well.

I have done everything suggested, as I stated above. I don't have a vpn. I removed all extensions. I cleared the cache and cookies and every single box on history. I turned off the tracking on firefox itself. I posted the error message above. I cannot sign in private mode. I can see that the problem is one in firefox as the NFCU site is not down for maintenance. I can get to it with their very limited phone ap. But the phone ap for NFCU does not allow me to do all the things I need to do. I have closed and reopened firefox and even turned off the computer and restarted it and it still won't work. This is an ongoing problem with firefox and the NFCU website.
