Firefox by default doesn't block ads unless it was listed by malware by mozilla developers. You will have to find Addons that will suffice to do what your asking.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.

Note: There are also many add-ons made for YouTube.
