how to remove Lightening from Thunderbird

I keep getting requests from Google to grant access to Lighting. After I enter my credentials, I see the message: "Lightning was granted access to your linked Google Account". But I don't use Calendar features in Thunderbird (and I don't use the Thunderbird Provider for Google Calendar). If I remove this Lightening permission from Google, the requests start all over again.

Please advise how I can uninstall Lighting and get rid of these annoying alerts.

Delete all calendars. Thunderbird wouldn't be asking for access to a resource (calendar) it has NEVER known. That's just not possible.

Stans, you are right. There was a calendar in Thunderbird for "Business Development" which is the same calendar name which was asking for permission. I will remove it from Thunderbird (apparently they call this 'unsubscribe') and remove the calendar access permission from Google side.

I will loop back in a few days to update or mark it solved.
