Amazon does it. Google does it. Yahoo does it. Virtually every newspaper in the Western World does it. Why does Mozilla fail to do it? I'm referring to your help page navigation system. At the bottom of just about every help page, Mozilla has a little menu to aid in our browsing through their help system page by page (e.g., < 1 2 3 4 ... >). And of course, once a number or arrow is clicked we're more or less quickly navigated to our selected page. BUT THEN WE'RE ABANDONED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TARGET PAGE! Literally DUMPED! Common sense alone, as well as reading newspapers for your entire lives, studying Egyptian hieroglyphics and Chinese pictographs (yes, this principle has been around that long!), and many more examples, would/should tell the programers that the smart thing, if not the considerate thing, to do would be to automagically position us at the top of the new page. Can you please fix this "little oversight" ASAP? Please?

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
