Cannot find where to import Bookmarks into Firefox
I managed to solve this problem myself after 40 minutes getting wrong advice from the web and Firefox's own help pages. So it's more of a comment for improvement.
I simply couldn't figure out how to import Bookmarks from Safari to Firefox (ver 69.0.1) on my Mac running the latest version of macOS Mojave. Firefox's help pages got me to the Library window (<Shift><Cmd>) but I simply couldn't see the "Import and backup" button it told me to click (see screenshot 1 & 2). But I stumbled on the solution (see screenshot 3).
I wish a) Firefox would stop changing icons and b) ensure that their help pages actually reflect the product rather than a copy/paste from previous outdated versions.
Firefox is fast and secure but its setting/configuration/bookmarks management is scattered all over the place, maybe Firefox should have everything in one convenient place like Google Chrome does.

I just wanted to add that after finding the Import from Safari, I performed the action and not one single Bookmark was imported and no error message thrown up.
These instructions are for Firefox. Other browsers should also be able to do this.
These instructions will combine the new bookmarks with the old.
Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer/profile. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML.

No worries - if you want to, you can click on the "Edit" button to the right and then write something like "Removed" or "Oops" ....
I took a look at your three screenshots and I totally understand your frustration.
On Mac OS somehow they left out the text next to the buttons in the
Library - let's just say that is because they think that Mac users are more intelligent and don't need the text .....
But seriously - if you want to, you could submit feedback (about this issue and the others you mentioned) :
