How do I get back my tabs from my other laptop?
My laptop died last fall. How can I bring those tabs over to this laptop I am now using? I looked under apps and devices and I see my other laptop listed and last synced 7 months ago. But it's unclickable unless I want to click disconnect. I seem to remember aeons ago when you used to be able to see your tabs from all of your other laptops and desktops. Can't we do this now?

Hi miriama59, in your current Firefox, if you open the Synced Tabs list, can you see those tabs there? That list is available using either:
- "3-bar" menu button > Library > Synced Tabs
- Library toolbar button > Synced Tabs
- Sidebars button > Synced Tabs (list opens in the sidebar)
- (menu bar) View > Sidebar > Synced Tabs (list opens in the sidebar)
I'm not aware of any other place to see the list, unfortunately.
Synced tabs expire in about a week, so you won't be able to restore them via Sync if this happened months ago.
Maybe it is possible to recover the hard drive from that device and mount it in an enclosure that you can connect via USB.
I am having this problem too. My old hard drive failed two weeks ago. My synced tabs were listed just a few minutes ago. Then I look over at the side panel and they are suddenly gone. I never got a chance to save them (there were a lot there and I didn't know they'd expire). Is there any back end way to retrieve them? Firefox really should hold them until you delete them manually.
