The close, minimize, and expand buttons no longer work after the latest up date. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. I hope this is something that can be fixed. I prefer Firefox and would hate to have to go back to chrome.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can try a different Windows theme and Windows background image (wallpaper) to see if that helps.
