When I am on my thunderbird email page and switch to page where I used to find my address book. Now all I see is an option to create a new address book. What happened to my old address book? screen shot.HEIC. screen shot.HEIC.pdf

Your last update included a Yahoo signup splash screen. Please remove it in the next update. It is annoying and does not serve any purpose other than ccnect me to Yahoo web mail. If I wanted to use that service, I sign in for it. I am content with using Thunderbird. Or at least give me the option of removing it myself. Thanks.

I have an email account on Thunderbird that I no longer use that I want to delete that account. I can very easily add an account to Thunderbird, but I can't seem to find any way to delete one. Is it even possible to delete an account?

I have been using Thunerbird for many years. Lin fixed a problem with an f8 toggle issue last week but I had 2 downloads for thunderbird in my desktop I tried to open 1 of them and it said there was a file it could not open. I opened the other one and it asks for my password. I keep 2 notebooks with my passwords but I can't find one for thunderbird. I tried to do a restore in windows 11 but the restore point from weeks ago said it could not complete because of an open vpn or some other file. There are no earlier restore points because I had a new ssd and some memory upgrades. Is there a way to recover that password? Probably no problem if I opened it from the tray but I was working on a printer problem at the time and had the desktop open. Thank you

New install of latest version. edited profile to point to saved data on USB external drive DELETED every instance of lock files terminated task numerous times. rebooted 3 times...

What now???

SHello Sometimes, on my iMac APPLE (OS Tahoe), THUNDERBIRD stops opening (message system: not responding ("ne répond pas" in French) There is no problem when launching the application, but issues arise later when returning to it after using other applications (Word, Excel, videos, etc.), THUNDERBIRD tourne en rond et ne s'ouvre plus. I have to close the application (via my Mac's system settings) and relaunch it for it to open normally again. I would appreciate any help if someone has experienced the same kind of issue. VAJP

I use a single Thunderbird password to access my six AOL accounts. Starting yesterday, the emails from one of my six AOL accounts do not display, but instead the emails from one of the other accounts is being duplicated in their place. I know the missing emails are indeed still in existence, since I can access that account's emails when I sign in to AOL in other browsers.

I upgraded my 2012 macbook pro to the latest version of thunderbird and I can not get my emails. I am running os10.15.8 Every time I try to get messages a yahoo page opens up and wants me to sign into my yahoo account. I can't get rid of the yahoo page it just keeps reopening again and again. Everything was working fine until I upgraded thunderbird to 153.0.3esr. My other mac that has not been upgraded can still get my emails.

Is it possible to go back to the prior versions of thunderbird or make this new version work with my mac?

I have 3 different email accounts. My calendar was associated with the main account. Now for some reason it is associated with the second account. It is also not showing on the day/date calendar area, but does show on the event area of the calendar. It is associated with the second of my accounts, not the first.

Any ideas?

One of the e-mails account receive mails verry slow for a few days. The other 2 works perfect. I have tryde all the sollutions I could find on internet, but I have still the problem

Is it possible to send emails without a subject, other than getting the warning dialogue box.

I'm getting Spam Emails from about 10 regular Spam Accounts and I wish to Universally Block them by adding Them to my Filtering Lists. I'm using the * Character as a Universal Place Holder for the *@*.com, *@blah.blah.ca or com. The Filter works one Time then stops working for any fresh Spam. In other words, the Filter doesn't Filter any new Spam from these Addresses. Why?

I updated t the latest version of Thunderbird but since then none of my email addresses were changed with the update. Tried all the advice on line but still can't retrieve my saved email addresses from the inbox and sent box

I have used Thunderbird for years with complete success. Recently (within the past month) I have lost the ability to send (SMTP) mail and receive the following error message: "Send Message Error, Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP). Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)." [I just change my from address to another one going through Network Solutions and the mail sends just fine.]

Everything seems to be in order when checking my settings. I finally called Yahoo and spent an hour on the phone with them, including a supervisor (in the background) and they were unable to correct the situation. Yes, since I had called them from their tech support line (I looked it up; did not call anything sent to me) and they worked on my computer trying to fix it. They finally said it was a Thunderbird issue and said I needed to contact Thunderbird.

I am able to send from my phone (Android) using the same cox.net e-mail address. My wife is able to send from her computer using her cox.net via Thunderbird. My wife's incoming mail is IMAP while mine are all POP.

I happen to have several cox.net accounts and get the same SMTP error on all. However, all receive POP mail just fine, but see the next paragraph.

[As an aside (?), I should note that after Yahoo attempted to "fix" the problem, ALL my incoming cox.net mail comes into ALL of my cox.net accounts regardless of which one is addressed.]

I don't even know where to start at this point. Thanks for any help.

For a few weeks now, sent emails have not been appearing in the "Sent" folder. The recipient receives the email, but I have no confirmation in "Sent" that it was actually sent. It was never a problem.

Attached is a picture of what my account settings looks like. Thunderbird stopped syncing my emails from a gmail account. How do I get it to continue syncing my emails?
