I am experiencing an issue where the built-in debugging features in Thunderbird for Android are not working as expected. I am trying to troubleshoot an issue, but the debugger is failing to generate or export useful information. Steps to Reproduce:Open Thunderbird for Android and navigate to Settings -> General settings -> Debugging.Toggle on Enable debug logging.Replicate the issue I am trying to troubleshoot.Return to the Debugging menu and tap Export logs.Expected Behavior:The app should successfully export a text file containing the local IMAP/POP3 commands, synchronization records, and error outputs.

contains no useful debugging .The application freezes or crashes as soon as I try to export the logs.Does anyone know if this is a known limitation of the release build, or if there is a specific configuration step I missed to get the debugger working? Mail.com support recommended that I install Thunderbird to clean out my inbox. Things went perfectly and I managed to delete 20,000. Then the app just STOPPED. It wouldn't delete any more. I emptied my email's trash, restarted my phone twice, and cleared the cache several times. The app is just inoperable.

Please help! I have 265,000 more emails to delete.

After the most recent Thunderbird app update from Google play, the Thunderbird app crashes instantly and constantly on start up. I did restart, uninstall, reinstall, OS update, clear cache, smart clean and still the Thunderbird app crashes instantly on start up. The screen will flash a few times as the app attempts to start. But instantly a window pops up saying the app has unfortunately shutdown. I am at witts end. I have been using Thunderbird for years. Never had this happen before. Anyone have any ideas? Google suggests getting hold of Mozilla support because this is becoming an on going issue. Please help.

Hi. I'm on the latest Thunderbird Beta for Android. I have recently received some emails from a university (probably sent from Outlook), containing a couple of attachments (signatures), and the moment I click to open any of them, Thunderbird just restarts. The messages can be opened easily from the Gmail app or from the GMX mail app. Any idea?

LE: just updated the app and the problem is gone, I suppose I'm not the only one who noticed it. Thank you
