Since there is a workaround, perhaps we could be told if the issue is related to using an older Android version. (phone doesn't support newer versions). That would prevent myself and others from updating Firefox. For all of you working on Firefox (thank you!) but there is no reason to ensure it works with all versions of Android!

android version 11
Firefox version 120.0.0 (no add-ons)
After upgrading Firefox 118 to 120, reading mode has various issues. Sometimes the webpage looks the same (white background, small text). Sometimes an error is presented. Here is one example.
Result: Cannot Complete Request (Additional information about this problem or error is currently unavailable)
Work around: Copy link, Open DuckDuckGo.com, paste the link and then go to the webpage.
Interestingly, when using the paste & go workaround, some pages open in Reading Mode by default. (Dark background, white text, larger font) with the reading mode icon in blue. Selecting the reading mode button does exit reading mode.
The other, rarer, issue, is that reading mode appears the same as non-reading mode. Workaround works.
