Hi. Now that the 'Open Link in Split View' has annoyingly replaced the spot previously held by 'Open Link in New Window' i keep clicking on it accidentally (muscle memory).

I don't want to have to retrain my muscle memory, but despite creating css file generated by Claude that should in theory remove the option, and putting it the Profile Folder, it will not go away.

How do i remove it?

I am trying to configure our Firefox configuration via Intune and need to use the OMA-URI: ./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/Firefox~Policy~firefox/Preferences with the following JSON:

I do not have any of the Deprecated preference settings in use.

The error presented is -2016281112 and checking the respective settings in about:config on a synchronised device shows that the settings have not applied.

System Windows 11 - Firefox 151.0.3 All normal actions from mouse right click have disappeared eg open link in new tab or private window, copy, paste etc etc. The Settings General - Tabs has not changed and previously worked rt click ok. Any help to restore the rt click function will be appreciated.

My mouse is setup so that the tilt wheel does Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab rather then whatever actions the tilt wheel would normally send, and that has worked fine for years, but now all of a sudden it is not working in Firefox, it's changing the zoom level instead which is not what I want. Firefox must be reading the mouse directly or something, because it shouldn't even be getting normal tilt wheel events.

Firefox has been automatically updated on Windows 11 and Tahoe, and now every time I close the browser, all tabs close – even the pinned ones – despite the ‘Open previous windows and tabs’ option being selected at startup.

I copy (Ctrl+C) some text from Chrome , and want to paste in Firefox (Ctrl+V) whey need to move to the icon and click the icon 1 more time , then Firefox can let me past the text ? I don't want this function , downgrade the performance seriously.

I think can change it back in settings , no need to move to the icon and click .

It seems a pity that Gmail is not an App on Windows and that one has to browse to open a gmail account..

I would like to set up a Gmail Tab that uses a firefox shortcut to access my gmail account but I am struggling with the shortcut path to do this. I have a standard Windows 11 set up

I was playing a game hat required dialogues and I accidentally clicked the "Stop site from making Dialogues" check box and i cant undo it, I've tried reloading the site but that didnt work, and that was the only suggestion i could find.

Running Windows 11 on Dell DB16250 Laptop. Using Firefox, updated. I want to use Firefox and eliminate Edge always. Is there a way to remove Edge from being default for ALL file types? --- Some types, like .pdf, I will associate with in that case Adobe Acrobat (of course). Others I may leave with NO association. If I chance on one of those files I'll select then. I do not want Edge to be triggered by ANY file type. --- Can I wipe Edge from all of the type associations Microsoft ties to Edge in some general way? Or must I go through the list and un-Edge them one by one? --- Thank you.

For the past week, I've been trying to set Firefox as my default browser on Windows 11 Pro (I've been using Firefox for years), but after restarting, the Edge browser reappears, even for PDFs (we use Adobe Acrobat) and Paint for TIFF and JPEG files! It's outrageous that Microsoft is forcing users to use Edge. This never happened to me with Windows 7 or Windows 10. I'm completely dissatisfied with Microsoft's policy of forcing users to use Edge! I've tried configuring regedit, gpedit, taskchd, etc., in a thousand different ways, and after restarting, the intrusive Edge returns! Is there any way to prevent this? Mozilla should fight this! It's unacceptable that we have to be tied to Microsoft's monopolistic whims!. Do you have any solution? Thank you very much!! Leonardo

При установке параметра "Настройки - Основные - Открывать Firefox автоматически при загрузке компьютера" в реестре создается запись HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run - Mozilla-Firefox-E385C0CFD98A494C: "путь-к-файлу\firefox.exe" -os-autostart Что за параметр командной строки -os-autostart? На на сайте поддержки Mozzila не нашел, ни интернет не подсказал. Я понимаю, что это автозапуск Firefox при запуске Windows. Но что конкретно делает данный параметр?

It was nice when FF was simple to use....unimcumbered with all the options...like the latest...profiles.

Why? It's getting to be as complicated as E and C..you don't need all those options - that's why I use FF.

Get rid, or allow the user, to pick and choose, and dump the unwanted stuff from cluttering the tool bar and other options. Just a suggestion that can be made to FF any longer. Use to be they'd welcome feedback.
