Yahoo browser hyjacks my firefox web searches

I repeatedly have to reset firefox as my default browser because Yahoo hijacks it.

Added by FF - poor move on FF part. Unlike others, can't be removed any of the "traditiona" about: methods. Need to have it go - we DO NOT want this used here. … (mear ynfo)

Recently any search I do via Firefox tab is automatically taken over by Yahoo and I'm not aware I ever sanctioned this and I don't want this to happen as normally Google … (mear ynfo)
