Please forgive me if this question was already answered and that I might have accidentally overlooked that answer.

I'm running Firefox 144.0 (64-bit) under Debian 13 (linux).

I want to configure Firefox to never restore any previous session when it starts up, irrespective of how Firefox was last exited.

Even if a running Firefox session was externally killed via some sort of system command or because of a reboot, I never, never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER (!!!) want it to restart in any previous session.

I ALWAYS (!!!) want Firefox to launch with its default start page, no matter what.

I tried all of the suggestions that I have found on line about how this might be accomplished, but with each one of them, there are cases where the previous session was restored.

I repeat, I do NOT (!!!) EVER (!!!) want the previous session to be restored, under any circumstances.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions, and again, please accept my apology if this has been answered and I overlooked that answer.

Youtube does not work. It shows somekind of default page that is essentially blank. It does say: "Try searching to get started" and "Start watching videos to help us build a feed of videos you'll love."

But it will not respond when I attempt to search anything.

After the update, a window popped up asking me to select a profile. But my profile, where all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. were, was gone. I couldn't restore my bookmarks because the only one available was from today and it`s "clean." Is there any way to restore my account data? Because everything was there: settings, bookmarks, passwords, history.

Dear Mozilla, I have enjoyed Firefox and I always appreciated the vast headline stories recommended in the past. Recently, there seems to be a change where every recommended article requires a paid subscription, i.e. Slate Plus, I already pay WAPO, NYT, WSJ, San Diego Union Tribune, Arizona Republic that i cannot afford to pay each and every website. I would be very happy if you could tell me where in my settings i can set it to show only free articles or perhaps my screen could show a little green dollar sign saying if article was behind a paywall. thank you for your time in reading and assistance. Hi!

What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Try my actual case with the following link: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1ZA06B736800244687&loc=fi_FI&requester=QUIC%2F/ The response in Finnish is always: "Emme voi suorittaa seurantapyyntöäsi tällä hetkellä. Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.

Any idea where to go to solve this issue?

Thanks for your support

André
