Please forgive me if this question was already answered and that I might have accidentally overlooked that answer.

I'm running Firefox 144.0 (64-bit) under Debian 13 (linux).

I want to configure Firefox to never restore any previous session when it starts up, irrespective of how Firefox was last exited.

Even if a running Firefox session was externally killed via some sort of system command or because of a reboot, I never, never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER (!!!) want it to restart in any previous session.

I ALWAYS (!!!) want Firefox to launch with its default start page, no matter what.

I tried all of the suggestions that I have found on line about how this might be accomplished, but with each one of them, there are cases where the previous session was restored.

I repeat, I do NOT (!!!) EVER (!!!) want the previous session to be restored, under any circumstances.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Youtube does not work. It shows somekind of default page that is essentially blank. It does say: "Try searching to get started" and "Start watching videos to help us build a feed of videos you'll love."

But it will not respond when I attempt to search anything.

I despise ai in every use and way with a passion. Now, it gets spammed everywhere on this browser, with no apparent way to disable and/or remove that filth. I don't want to see it, ever! Why is it even on by default??? I don't want "chatbots", "Ai assistants" or any of that shit at all.

I have paid for a Veepn extension software for Firefox. If I go into Veepn it says I have an account and have paid for the software but the software has not been down loaded. How can I find where to down load it again? I have a Linux Mint 22.3 operating system.

Unable to log into SSA since the update (it seems however since you are changing this weekly or hourly it seems sometimes I do not know what the version was when I logged in last) I am at 144.0 and can log in without an issue using Chrome. How can this be fixed? From what I can tell it seems to not allow a return from server when you click on LOGIN on SSA <ssa.gov/myaccount/> I can get in with out a problem using Chrome. Please let me know what the fix is.

how to see how many time and when I visited a website in firefox. like I visited "https://www.themoviedb.org/person/500-tom-cruise" 10 times. now it only show latest time not the first or secnd or third in firefox. how to see?

After the update, a window popped up asking me to select a profile. But my profile, where all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. were, was gone. I couldn't restore my bookmarks because the only one available was from today and it`s "clean." Is there any way to restore my account data? Because everything was there: settings, bookmarks, passwords, history.

Why I am receiving regular message from web page "https://fno.5paisa.com/open-interest/oi-dashboard?name=HINDALCO&exch=N&exchtype=D" that this page is slowing firefox, stop it ?

I updated firefox through apt, and since then, have not been able to log into twitch I am on ubuntu 24

Dear Mozilla, I have enjoyed Firefox and I always appreciated the vast headline stories recommended in the past. Recently, there seems to be a change where every recommended article requires a paid subscription, i.e. Slate Plus, I already pay WAPO, NYT, WSJ, San Diego Union Tribune, Arizona Republic that i cannot afford to pay each and every website. I would be very happy if you could tell me where in my settings i can set it to show only free articles or perhaps my screen could show a little green dollar sign saying if article was behind a paywall. thank you for your time in reading and assistance. What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Try my actual case with the following link: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1ZA06B736800244687&loc=fi_FI&requester=QUIC%2F/ The response in Finnish is always: "Emme voi suorittaa seurantapyyntöäsi tällä hetkellä. Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

I noticed I cannot log on to amazon.ca or shaw.ca anymore on firefox, why?

You started pushing a widget a while back that shows the days I've been on Yahoo, concurrent and otherwise. This thing is annoying and I want it gone. I don't care how much I've used Yahoo on my devices and You already know via tracking cookies.

Make it go away or tell me how to get rid of it - PLEASE.

Hi, Since the search open tabs function is part of the overflow button in a horizontal tab layout, when you switch to vertical tabs, you lose that search function. Is there a way to add it to my vertical tab layout? Thanks, Scott

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.

Any idea where to go to solve this issue?
