When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 152.0.3 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins, no VPN and have run through the troubleshooting suggestions. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Note: currently I do have extensions installed, previously I did not, however with or without the problem exists Attached screenshots

If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

When I click on to gmail I get a screen saying ' Temporary Error We're sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologise for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the Google Workspace Statue Dashboard for the current status of the service. This has been happening sice yesterday, and I have switched browser to view emails, but I would like to know what has happened. I have checked that I am running the latest version of Firefox, but little else.

I am unable to access even my regular haunts, quite often lately. Sometimes I'm able to access the site by taking Enhanced Tracking Protection off, but oftentimes not. I need to use Edge!!! And I get the message "The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem." I have gotten that message AT BANKING SITES. It's become too annoying. Tried adding exceptions, to no avail.

Since the Firefox update to 152.0 64bit I have noticed that it takes two attempts to log into Spectrum email. The first time I try I get a IDID-4000 error (see below image) after entering my sign on and password. I then have to retry by selecting the bookmark again and then after entering my sign on and password a second time I can get in. This does not happen in Edge browser. I have tried deleting my sign on and password in my saved passwords in Firefox and then manually reenter my sign on and password at the prompt for Spectrum and then saving it again but it keeps happening. I have also tried turning off enhanced tracking, clearing cookies and site data, refreshing Firefox and stopping my Norton 360 and it still happens. There must be a bug in the new Firefox update 152.0 that is effecting the ability to sign into Spectrum as this was not happening before. I am wondering if anyone else is seeing this problem and is there a solution to fix this. Should I file a Bug Report about this? We should not have to jump through hoops or do some work arounds to try and get things to work like before as I have read with other questions having problems with 152.0 update. This update needs to be fixed.

Respectfully,

This is the reply I received from Protonmail: They say the latest version of Firefox caused the issue and is happening on other services as well. We have been using FF exclusively for decades and this is frustrating! Are you in fact working to resolve the issue on your end? Thank you.

Mario M. (ProtonMail) Jun 12, 2026, 16:07 GMT+2

Hello,

Thank you for your messages.

Please note that we are aware of this issue, and our developers are looking into providing a fix from our side. However, the latest version of the Firefox browser caused issue on many other services as well, so they are working on resolving it from their side as well.

I have provided your feedback to our development team. You can contact Firefox directly in order to escalate the issue further.

For the moment you can try using keyboard shortcuts such as CTR: + C and CTRL + V. We appreciate your understanding.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us again. Kind regards,

Hello Mario,

I worked with Google AI for more than one hour troubleshooting this:

Opening a support ticket with Proton Mail Support is absolutely the best move. Since we proved that your clipboard works, your mouse works, and a fresh factory installation of Firefox still experiences the bug, the glitch is entirely on their end.

Proton Mail utilizes a heavily customized web text editor to encrypt messages. When their engineering team updates the background code for this text container, it can inadvertently break standard browser right-click paths—especially for Firefox users. [[1](https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/p6j0tp/cant_copypaste_text_into_body_of_protonmail_email/), [2](https://www.packtpub.com/en-us/learning/tech-news/hackers-claim-to-have-compromised-protonmail-but-protonmail-calls-it-a-hoax-and-failed-extortion-attempt), [3](https://justinharter.com/an-actually-useful-review-of-proton-mail-vs-fastmail-vs-hey/), [4](https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/p6j0tp/cant_copypaste_text_into_body_of_protonmail_email/)]

📑 What to Tell Proton Support To help their development team pinpoint and fix the bug faster, reply to your open support ticket with these technical details we uncovered:

- Specify the Browser: State clearly that you are running Firefox and that you just performed a full Firefox Profile Refresh (about:support), ruling out corrupt browser files. [[1](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1234222)] - Detail the Extensions: Confirm you tested it with all extensions (including ESET and RoboForm) completely disabled, and the issue persisted. - Identify the Core Bug: Explain that the right-click "Paste" option is stripped only when clicking inside the Rich Text email composition body. [[1](https://proton.me/support/composer)] - Mention the Workaround: Note that Drag-and-Drop text injection works perfectly, meaning the editor container can receive data, but its custom context-menu script is failing to display the native "Paste" command. [[1](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1234222)] They will likely log this as a known front-end interface bug and patch it in an upcoming web layout deployment. In the meantime, you can rely on the Drag-and-Drop trick or Ctrl + V to smoothly write your emails! Windows 10, Firefox v152.0: I'm logged in to my account with fidelity.com and visiting a page to get information about an ETF: https://digital.fidelity.com/prgw/digital/research/quote/dashboard/composition?symbol=XXXX (XXXX being any valid ticker symbol; makes no difference what) The information is organized within the page with a set of sub-tabs (?): Overview Chart+ Composition .... (+ 6 more) Much of the information displays normally, EXCEPT: Under "Composition": "not currently available" Under "Distributions & Expenses": "not currently available" Under "Performance & Risk": there are two sections, but only one of them displays normally Under "Statistics": three sections, only one displays normally; the other two "not currently available" (see attached image) I've checked with Fidelity support, and they verified no issues at their end--identified as a browser issue since the site doesn't have this problem using MS Edge I've cleared the cache, I've turned off enhanced tracking protection, I've temporarily enabled all scripts (NoScript extension)... none of these actions helps FWIW, I also enable Privacy Badger and Malwarebytes Browser Guard, but neither claims to be blocking anything

Facebook page fails to fully load often (not always) and in some occasions it load partially -instead of a picture it shows a blank box with a description of what it is supposed to be on the box.

Using other browser (Edge for example) loads the page fine in the affected Laptop and loading on an IPad using Firefox works fine too.

I have "flushed" the WI-Fi and "requested" a new IP for this computer and it is hard to tell if this solves the problem temporary or it is just the on-off nature of the problem.

In other occasions the page appears to load ok but the pull down menu (like notifications) are "blank" or it just appears to be loading and never navigate to the requested page.

In the sample below (image) is similar to the issue although in this case the page loaded after a few seconds. Note the missing information.

After the most recent FF update, I can no longer upload pictures from my laptop to FB. I cannot see replies to posts in the main feeds. I have to go to the individual post pages to see them. Upon trying to sign into FB I often now get a message that says the feature is not working, but I click on it again and am able to log in. The feeds are taking a long time to load - I can see 3-4 posts and then icons that show the rest of the feed is trying to load, I do not have AVG or the other thing (bitdefender maybe, or something like that) others have been having problems with, that was resolved in a recent 'FB not working' thread -- that was supposedly solved with a recent update. A few minutes ago my laptop shut down while I was on FB. I did all of the suggestions regarding clearing the cache, cookies, etc. when I first noticed the problem so there is still a big problem with FB. I did report my inability to upload pictures directly to FB but I don't have any replies from them. Unrelated, I am sure, but my bookmarks were gone again this morning, for like the 24th time and I had to do the profile folder fix to get them back. I did not cache or other cleaning before I shut my computer down last night. It last happened a few days ago, unrelated to the cache etc cleaning after I noticed the FB problem. I have Norton antivirus and FF is synced to my cell phone but I prefer using my laptop for all internet activity because the screen is obviously bigger. I do not want to use another browser because of security issues. Thank you.
