I just downloaded Firefox 22.0.1 and I see you're gradually moving to remove items from the screen. This is exactly why there are so many complaints about other browsers. I happen to use and rely on Bookmarks and in your previous versions one could either show them permanently on the screen or remove them if they wanted more screen space - - this always worked out extremely well.

So, how can I easily keep bookmarks ON, or remove them FROM the screen?

Keazen oplossing

That would be right-click on free space of the Tab bar or the Navigation Toolbar.

  • Firefox menu button > Options
  • View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the hidden Menu bar)
  • Right-click empty toolbar area

Note that you can also see a Bookmarks Menu button on the Navigation Toolbar if the Bookmarks Toolbar and the Menu bar are hidden.

You can hide the bookmarks toolbars:

Try right click on the title bar and uncheck the Bookmarks Toolbar
