I've been using Google chrome and I've noticed my add-ons are visible on my browser in the top right corner but on my Firefox browser no adds besides add block show up anywhere on the browser. Is this a bug or are there not that many add-ons that have viewable browser buttons on Firefox?

Are you sure they're not one on the widget bar (press ctrl - / to open)?

Yes there is one and that is adblockplus. Also tried to download a new addon and only the new one appears now at the top right.

hello, not all addons will come with icons - some will just work in the background and have there preferences accessible through the addons manager.

however in firefox you have a great amount of freedom to change the interface. you can right-click a blank spot on the tabbar & select customize...then you can move around the buttons freely and/or drag new ones to the interface from the customization dialog.

So a add-on like stumpleupon will have a icon in chrome but not necessarily have one in Firefox. That seems to defeat the purpose of even having that add-on when i would have to visits the website to even use the add-on.

stumbleupon in firefox appears to have a toolbar & not a mere icon. you can also activate that by right-clicking on a blank space in the tabbar...

Maybe that's the issue because I don't even have a option to show the toolbar.

yes, maybe refer to the extension's documentation in this case: http://help.stumbleupon.com/customer/portal/articles/665208-firefox (they recommend to reinstall)...
