Hi there, To my knowledge, there is no way to disable the "Customise homepage" button just yet. There is, however, an existing Mozilla Connect forums post regarding this. You can find that here One of the Mozilla employees stated that, "... allowing you to tailor your experience is important to us and that allows disabling features that don't resonate", suggesting this option may be added in the future.
