Your Firefox identified itself as version 59, which I think is nearly 4 years old now. I guess it is not updating automatically, which is unusual. What if you try to trigger an update using the About Firefox dialog as described in this article: Update Firefox to the latest release.

If that doesn't work, I suggest doing this in a few separate steps:

To stay on the standard release track:

(1) Make a backup of your profile for safety using the steps in this article: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles

(2) Manually upgrade to Firefox 68 using the steps in this article: How to download and install Firefox on Mac [Download for U.S. English: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/68.0.2/mac/en-US/]

(3) Manually upgrade to Firefox 78 [Download for U.S. English: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.0.2/mac/en-US/]

(4) Manually upgrade to Firefox 92 (try using the built-in updater in Firefox 78)

To switch to the extended support release track:

(For people who prefer fewer feature changes: Switch to Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) for personal use)
