cannot log on to my account. waited 24 hours, tried again. Firefox claims they sent email that was rejected. They did not. Not in my spam folder or anywhere else. Am i going to have to use Chrome?

Why would you have to use Chrome??

A Firefox Account is required to use certain services. For example, Firefox Sync, to share your Firefox settings between different installations of Firefox. You can browse the web without the account.

As for the email being rejected, many mail servers reject mail based on their own spam policy without telling you. Be thankful: that can screen out over 80% of the incoming mail to an account. Mostly pure crap.

Unfortunately, it may sometimes block messages you want to receive. You could try adding the following address to your mail account's allowed/approved sender list:

accounts@firefox.com

Or contact your mail provider for advice on how to receive messages from that address.
