Just shortly Thunderbird always asks for verifying the Google-Calendars when starting Thunderbird.

I already tried to change it to ical via private Calendar-address...

Why is this suddenly happening and how to resolve?

Good morning, for some time now, appointments on the calendar that were scheduled before I open Thunderbird have been “forgotten” and don't appear. For example: an appointment (or memo) at 8:00 a.m.; I open Thunderbird at 9:00 a.m., and the appointment doesn't show up. Thank you.

I just upgraded from thunderbird 140 to 152 on Windows 11. I have master password setup.

Every times I start thunderbird, calendar keeps asking for authentication ( oauth ) , I did login successfully and was able to view and modify my events.

After a couple of startup I decided to click on the close button of the oauth authentication windows for calendar. I still able to see and modify my calendar successfully. Is it a bug or I miss something in the calendar settings  ?

Thunderbird version is 1.52.0

Since this morning (8:00 CET) I have to enter password for my google calendar every time I start Thunderbird. No matter what authentication options I choose, calendar manager keeps asking me to authenticate. "Don't ask again" is turned on. Gmail is set up as OAuth for both incoming and outgoing servers, and it works fine.

Things I've tried since:

- Removed legacy connection in password manager, when I was using IMAP to connect to Gmail - Revoked OAuth permission from google account for Calendar and from Thunderbird password manager - Unsubscribed from calendars and added them again after restarting Thunderbird

I don't know what more to do. Also, I don't know what happened, really, as it worked properly last night.

I don't know what to do when February 29 is in my calendar, 2026 is not a leap year. I've found nothing to help me. I have the latest version if Thunderbird. Thanks

Last week I started getting the attached pop-up

I don't use Calendar on Thunderbird (as it does not sync ) Not sure why this has started ..... I have tried putting in password and ticking the remember box - but it still keeps popping up.

I have 4 devices that share a google calendar. If I snooze or dismiss a reminder it applies to all of the devices. I am using the "Provider for Google Calendar" add-on to connect to the google calendar. The author of that add-on says the problem is with Thunderbird since he is using the provided API.

Please add an option to make calendar reminder actions local.

I would like a view by Year option in the Thunderbird Calendar. Since Microsoft Calendar tries to launch Outlook and setup a new email address when you try to use just the Calendar it has become not useful to someone who does not use Outlook. You can get the Calendar app to launch into the Calendar on the 4th try but it's inconsistent and a pain. I was trying to check a date/month by displaying the Year view with the 12 small monthly calendars like the Microsoft Calendar has and found you cannot do this. I'd prefer it as a feature rather than a plug-in. Thanks

For aprox. 3 weeks now Thunderbird asks me a short time after startup for a login.

It shows up a dialog with the text : "https://caldav.gmx.net verlangt einen Benutzernamen und ein Passwort."

The problem is, that I maintain several GMX - accounts and I've no idea, which credentials I have to enter :/

How can I find out ( without inspecting or debugging the source code ;-) )

I accidently unsubscribed my current calendar. It does not list anymore, I do not know how to list unsubscribed calendars. How to re-subscribe it? (Window 11 w/latest Thunderbird). thanks very much.

Is there a setting, like in Outlook, to snooze a reminder until "x minutes before start"?

If I have a reminder for e.g. 3pm, which is set to go off 1 hour before and then I want to snooze to give 5 minutes warning, in Outlook I would set it to remind me 5 minutes before. This works at any time up until 6 minutes before the event, regardless of when I snooze it..

But it seems that in TB, if you're away from your desk until e.g. 2.30pm, then you would have to calculate and manually enter "remind me in 25 minutes" to achieve the same effect.

I can't find an addon which does this, but happy to stand corrected!

Not sure how it happened but I've suddenly lost access to my Google calendar. On the bar on the left side of my calendar display screen there is a list of two calendars, Home and my email address, which I think is a Google calendar. Even though I check "Show all calendars" it does not show my email address calendar. And if I click on only to show my email address calendar it shows nothing at all. On my Pixel cell phone I can still see both the Home calendar and the Google calendar, so I guessing Thunderbird has just lost the link, although it shows a googleapi address when I click on properties. When I accept a Zoom calendar listing it has always and still shows up on the Home calendar. This seems most mysterious. Anyone have an idea of what I should do? Is there anyway I can rebuild the link to the Google calendar?

Exported ical file from Google Calendar and then went to import into Thunderbird. This previously worked in the same installation. The import failed and the error console displayed the attached message. Restarted Thunderbird. Calendar showed ready and is not read only. Same problem.

Week starts on Sunday. Events scheduled for Monday through Thursday. Select event set for Thursday and Crtl+P. Print preview shows event scheduled for Monday, not Thursday's event.

I updated to TB151.0 and lost access to my Outlook e-mail and calendar. After re-loading OWL my e-mail returned. However, I am unable to re-link on a read/write/synchronize basis to my Outlook calendar. I have tried adding a new calendar in every way I can think of and nothing works. I am tired of fighting with TB over this and am about to dump it and set up my accounts on Outlook. Please help me give TB one more chance.

I updated Thunderbird to version 151 yesterday and my Outlook e-mail and calendars did not port across to the new version. Re-installing the e-mail account was fairly simply using the account hub. However, trying to add my Outlook calendars to Thunderbird is proving to be much more difficult. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
