 to explain in "detail" how FX22 is not working.  Developers should explain exactly what is not working for your clients' websites.  This is the only way to get a solution or at least a temporary rollback until the new features are properly set up, with option settings and tested! Complaining  is not what the forums are for, but when there's a complete disaster (like this) you could point them to it.

Firefox 22 may be made to behave like Firefox 21 as explained in workarounds in this thread.

It is wise to avoid Firefox 21 use as it is unsupported and insecure.

Corporate / Enterprise / Educational establishments that have an IT Department and support users and deploy Firefox may consider using Firefox ESR that does not have this problems and is secure and supported. ESR however will next update to Firefox 24, and unless things change ESR will then inherit the same problem.

I runWin XP and have tried the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx 'fix' on three machines - but it does not return the appearance to how it was.

Having been an enthusiastic user of Firefox since the late nineties, I cannot begin to express my disappointment.

I have gone back to version 21 while I look for another browser.

I just looked at the two Bugzilla links that Johnzx posted and the replies from the devs do not look promising. It seems like the don't understand the problem or want all other variables to change as if this broken zoom is the way it is supposed to be. I'm still on FF 21 but I want to get off of it as it is not supported. If 23 doesn't fix this issue, then I will be forced to change browsers. This is a deal breaker. Full Stop.

I totally agree, it´s like butter trying to tell the bread how it´s supposed to look!

They fixed something that was not broken, and now it is broken. I am really disappointed in them. There was no problem, until they fixed it.

Hey marv6, you're talking to the choir. Everyone, please continue making the point to the devs that their "fix" has made the browser unusable, especially for web designers.

This thread actually has the most activity but has an unfortunate title so people searching for thisproblem may not find it. I know it took me quite a while to locate anyone talking about the font size change. (btw another is at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/959621?page=2#answer-455721)

i switched from Mozilla to Chrome because they broke up DPI.

There are so many discussion threads on this issue. Can't someone gather them and post them to that bugzilla page? Why are the Mozdevs missing from this forum? Or are they deaf and blind to what they've unleashed?

It would be nice if the UI could follow Windows's DPI settings, but allow pages to be pixel-perfect.
