Did you put any buttons on it? A new toolbar will not stay unless it has buttons on it.

Yes, I kept putting buttons on it. I did it 4 times before I decided to run recovery and set back to prior to update and problem solved. Checked help for updates and no updates were listed. Believe update I ran was a virus since still running same version
