cant open URLs via enter key
I am running Firefox 7.01 when i type a URL in to the Address box my enter key does nothing works in windows explorer so not my keyboard

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Check "Problematic extensions" -- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions
- "Safe Search" installed by AVG Free is listed there with such a problem, follow directions to remove the Link Scanner Component

Thanks for your help it was an AVG extension with this disabled firefox works great again
