OS10.5.8 iMac FF 6.0.2 all support/web suggestions are no help e.g. prefs/content/load images etc - no thumbnails on Amazon. full images OK

e.g. Amazon.co (amazon co.uk etc) in books no thumbnails appear but if clicked full image comes up. All plugins have been loaded, settings e.g. content checked. Have closed and opened app etc. 'Books' webpage has thumbnails with loading arrow but broken logo, individual book page has only blank+broken logo. Also no history is listed at all.
