Bookmarks show on screen but Firefox 5 unable to open them
I am able to open favourites using Explorer but not able to open Bookmrks using Firefox 5

IE bookmarks (Favorites) use system files for each bookmark and are not compatible with other browsers. Firefox used to use an HTML file for bookmark but now uses a database file (places.sqlite). The HTML file remains the standard means of transferring bookmarks from one browser to another.

Not saving History (Tools -> options -> Privacy), make sure you are not clearing in "Settings for Clearing History"

Do the bookmarks not work if you click them or do you have other problems with the bookmarks?
Using explorer I can access the bookmarks but not with Firefox I can see them on screen but when i click them the error message "problem loading " appears
