Using Mercola.com , I want to save articles as favorites on that site. This does not work for me using firefox. christine upton
Mercola, com has articles and a place for me to save links to my favorite articles. But firfox does not seem to be letting me do that. I am not talking about my own firfox bookmarks. Christine Upton

Is that data saved in a cookie on your computer or in your user account on that website?
I am assuming it is on the website--but how can I find out where it is saved?
Chris
If it is stored on the server then it should be browser independent.
Did it ever work in Firefox?
It is possible that it doesn't work in Firefox. Did you try to contact the website?
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
the website told me to contact the browser.
If it is stored in a cookie on your computer than make sure that you have allow exception for that website and that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the cookies.
Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
- Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.
- In Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
- In Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode Firefox won't fill names and passwords automatically and won't offer to store new passwords.
- Do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
