"Suddenly" cannot login to my google blog via Firefox.

All was well last night but today, when logging in to update my blog, I got a "Not found, Error 404" message. Nothing has been updated or operator changed since last night. All settings are correct i.e., cookies (including 3rd party), login and password, and I've gone through every possible troubleshooting list: nothing applies. In other words, obvious, operator solutions don't seem to be the answer. I shut Firefox down and waited awhile (tried this many times), but still the same 404 error.

I updated to Firefox 4.1 over a week ago but there was no problem after that either. Firefox is still opening other websites OK, and I'm even able to login to my web host/site for changes. Firefox is just suddenly preventing me from entering my google blog.

I switched to Safari and am able to login to my blog with no problem and blogger itself is working just fine. This "Not found, Error 404" has happened out of nowhere and is strictly a Firefox problem. Does anyone know what is causing this and can you provide the solution?

Problem cleared! Trouble was in the initial login site name that was bookmarked. That site address changed?! Through google blogger was able to located the new login address. However, the bookmarked address continued to work in Safari? Anyway, just thought I'd save anyone the tedious analysis in case they were going to try and figure this out.
