New tab dropdown and tab + select option stopped working.

Out of the blue the new tab option in the dropdown menu and the other + tab stopped working. New tabs will open if I, say, follow a link from email, but I can't make them open.

Try uninstalling the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

Will do! Those punks. There was an option to install or not install and I chose not to. and then BAM there it was. Your help is appreciated. :) Tina Goin' Lupi, LLC
