How do I turn off the "slide to delete" on Collections?

Sliding items sideways to delete them is a real problem in the Collections section. The slide detection isn't very sensitive so even with an accidental flick of a finger it deletes a link without any way to undo it. I have deleted far more links by accident in this way than I have ever deleted any on purpose.

Is there a way to disable this feature, or at least turn it off till I really need it? Or can Mozilla add an undo feature for this? Thanks.

That is currently not an option in Firefox for Android.

If you wish, you can leave feedback for developers on the Mozilla Connect website. Click the Firefox Menu Fx89menuButton button in the toolbar, click Help and select Share ideas and feedback….
