I have been having problems getting access to sites. I keep getting 502 Bad Gateway Certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate. What can I do? For example, I have been trying to access EFTPS to schedule payments or IRS and get same message. What should I do?

Do you have an example of a website address that we could try here and see if we get the same issue?

Hi. I am having this problem too. This is only happening on my imac. I can access the exact same (various trusted/official websites) on other devices. But on my desktop I am experiencing very frustrating problems not being able to access these sites and instead getting the message :

502 Bad Gateway

Certificate verify failed: self signed certificate in certificate chain

I've followed the standard advice that is coming up in searches of clear cache/cookies. but to no avail. It's stopping me from being able to work efficiently so i am keen to find a solution.

This is not just happening in Firefox but also in safari and chrome.

Thanks for any suggestions.
