Today Control+W doesn't work to close a tab. Also tabs are not appearing on the Menu Bar like they did before.
Could an update today have caused these problems?

So I found it was a Google Voice extension (even though Google Voice/Hangouts doesn't work in Firefox for voice!) that pinned it the Menu Bar. When I would Control_Tab to move between tabs the last one wouldn't close. What a mess. Anyway that's gone now and things are fine. So people, if you can't navigate between tabs, check to see if anything is pinned. It can really cause things to work very differently. Of course there was no warning. Incompetent designer.
