Trying to Enable JavaScript on mobile

A website I am trying to use requires JavaScript to use. From what I've seen, JavaScript should be enabled by default, but I want to make sure and/or reset it to see if the website will work then. However, when I tried to figure out how to do that, the only suggestion on here was to change it through about:config, which doesn't do anything. I tried to look that up as well, and I believe someone said that had been taken out so it doesn't work anymore.

I am using FireFox on my Android phone. I've just installed the app, so I'm not missing an update or anyrhing like that.

So how do I make sure JavaScript is enabled? And if it is, how do I troubleshoot to figure out what is actually wrong with the site?

Thank you!
