Firefox remembers logons even when this option is not selected.
When I sign on to some sites, if I left click, my logon info appears. I have everything in privacy and security de selected. I do not have this issue in IE.
Solution choisie
That could be the form filler built into Firefox. Click in the field, enter a character or two and STOP ! Using the arrow keys, highlight an unwanted entry. Then press Delete (Mac=Shift Delete). Repeat as needed.
