Firefox is removing DOM elements. How do I fix this?
This is specifically about firefox developer edition.
I am currently building a site and when I go to inspect something sometimes the DOM just seems to stop and doesnt show me all of the children elements that I need (it should show everything really)
See the screenshot for an example.
The container div does have chilren and you can even see the styles for children in the styles panel but the DOM just seems to stop there. This has happened a few times and I'm not sure why.
If this is a bug then I would be happy to submit it elsewhere but im not entirely sure where I would submit that?

Can you get Firefox to populate the Inspector by using the Select Element button for content inside the (not really) empty div?
(I've never noticed a need to do that in the Page Inspector, but I have noticed it in the Browser Toolbox.)
Also, if it didn't pop out at you, the board for dev tools on Discourse is:
Hey guys,
Thanks for the replies...I hadnt actually tried the element button but im guessing it wont work. (The problem just seems to happen randomly and I cant re-create it now to test)
When I try to inspect an element by right clicking on it though, in the inspector it just goes as far as it shows, and no further but then I can see the styles applied to the element I inspected, I just cant see the element in the inpector.
Thanks for the link to the devtools discourse. I'll re-post this there.
