when online my pc will not navigate to hyperlinks or other sites without a restart or reboot.

While browsing online sometimes when I click on a hyperlink or try to navigate to another site , the computer does not freeze but the cursor/symbol of connecting is there, but it never changes to the next site or link. The only way I can navigate again is a restart or a reboot

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
