I have set my "privacy" options as described in order to remember form field values and it does nott work for me on my windows 10 64 bit laptop
for some time now on my windows 10 64 bit laptop Firefox browser does NOT remember form field values. I checked my "privacy" options and it does indicate that values should be remembered. Why are form field values not being remembered ?

Which of these is closer to the problem:
- You fill in a form and submit it, then you go back to the form and Firefox doesn't remember your entries from 3 minutes ago
- Firefox remembers form history during your session, but it is cleared when you exit/restart Firefox
What do you have set on the Privacy panel of the Options page? For example:
- Shows "Firefox will: Remember history" when opened
- Shows "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" when opened
- Checkmark for Remember search and form history +
- No checkmark for Clear history when Firefox closes

Update : it seems that the issue is with specific websites, not with Firefox itself. When I received my confirmation email for joining the support forum and I clicked into the username field I was indeed show a list of possibilities.
So it would seem my current issue is being caused specifically by the Hotmail/Outlook website itself.
