After the Windows update, Mozilla does not work.

After a windows update, the Mozilla Foxfire does not work. I can type in the address of the site I wish to see, and absolutely nothing happens after click on "search". . . It makes me wonder if the windows update had something in it that blocks mozilla foxfire in favor of the internet "explorer" . . .
